Has anyone noticed any lip sync issues during any of the live remotes on Good Day Wisconsin or either the Fox 11 News at 5 and 9 on the digital channel? A buddy of mine was telling me that he was seeing some problems, but I'm never up in time to catch the remotes on Good Day Wisconsin, and of course now that I'm looking closely, there hasn't been a live remote on the late news in a few days. Thanks.

I don't know about lip sync
I don't know about lip sync issues, but I know they've been having their share of technical snafus lately. Watching GDW lately has been like watching a train wreck, hard to watch but you can't not look. Today they had to throw up the station logo for a couple minutes then cut to FOX News for a couple more minutes until they could come back local.
I've noticed that the lip
I've noticed that the lip sync is off when they're in local programming. It matches correctly when they're in a Fox network feed. An engineer friend of mine (who doesn't work there) said the delay has to do with analog to digital conversion and the audio arriving at the transmitter a microsecond later. It does make it harder to watch their local programming once you notice the voice doesn't match exactly.
I watched GDW this morning
I watched GDW this morning and didn't notice any lip sync issues at all watching on WLUK-DT.
I've noticed it -- in varying degrees -- on WIWB over the last couple years. I know around 2005 or 2006 they had a REALLY bad issue with lip sync, like a second or two off. I still see a very slight sync issue on WIWB-DT now, but I haven't really looked to see if its different on local vs. network programming.
