
I'm hearing credible rumors now that WLUK is aggressively prepping for their own HD news launch. Nothing officially announced by the station, but it could happen in the next few months. It will be interesting to see what they do with their launch in the wake of WFRV and WBAY flipping their operations in the past year.

Recently, I've been seeing promos for WLUK's newscasts that have featured a more 3-dimensional logo, so I figured something is definitely going on. I knew it would only be a matter of time before they made the decision to switch. I wonder if they're gearing up to be the next Official Packers Station.?
Anyway, if they do switch, I wonder if they'll still use their same graphics or if they'll get an entirely new set of graphics. Their current graphics are still quite new, so I don't know if it would be possible to put them in 16:9.

Also, I've been noticing that the promos for the newscasts with the anchors telling viewers what will featured are in HD. I'm guessing they are getting familiar with new cameras maybe?
