Time Warner Cable taking over Oconto cable service from Charter
Next month, residents in the city and town of Oconto will be writing out checks for their cable service to a new provider.
Time Warner Cable has purchased cable systems in Oconto from Charter Communications, and plans to begin offering their full suite of cable, phone and Internet services by mid-July.
“We look forward to serving the people of Oconto, and particularly to introducing Digital Cable, High Definition Television and Digital Home Phone service to area cable subscribers,” said Tom Adams, Regional Vice President of Operations for Time Warner Cable. “We take great pride in Time Warner Cable’s strong track record for offering variety, choice in entertainment and information technology to customers across Wisconsin.”
Time Warner's Oconto lineup will mirror that of Green Bay. Oconto residents affected by the change can call 866-255-6371 or visit www.timewarnercable.com/wisconsin for information on the switch.

kind of makes me wonder if
kind of makes me wonder if Charter will sell off any more of their divisions for cash..... I was thinking a buy out would have happened when they filed bankruptcy a few months ago.
