If you're anything like me, you teared up a little seeing The Colbert Report in glorious HD for the first time last night.
Time Warner Cable's Northeast Wisconsin division finally lit up the long-promised Viacom HD channels yesterday.
The seven new channels include Nickelodeon HD (1103), Spike TV HD (1206), Comedy Central HD (1207), BET HD (1216), MTV HD (1250), VH1 HD (1252), and CMT HD (1254). They also reportedly enabled a second Game HD channel for premium sports package subscribers on channel 739.

You didn't miss much. The
You didn't miss much. The Daily Show and Colbert Report weren't broadcast in HD until just a few weeks ago.
That's why I didn't understand why everyone was whining about not having Comedy Central HD. Us U-Verse owners have had it for a long while and I'd say about 90% of the programming was in SD.
Spike HD playing all 6 Star Wars movies in HD is awesome though... much better than CCHD.
Now if only they could add
Now if only they could add the channels to the Tuning Adapter!
I've been watching these
I've been watching these channels since launch on my TiVo HD with a tuning adapter without problem. I did have to go into the Channel List on the TiVo and check the new channels to have them show up in the guide, which might be what you need to do. In fact, the new channels seem to be more stable (less freezing and pixelating) than the channels we've had for quite a while.
They're checked but all I get
They're checked but all I get is a gray screen.
