We have two 8300HDC HD-DVRs and both got their upgrades this morning. One of them has a one-terrabyte eSATA external hard drive attached and the other does not. While it looks like the shows on the external drive are all there, on a reboot it no longer gives you the message saying a drive is attached like it used to. When I pull up the DVR list, it shows the DVR space as 0% used, even though it's very obviously at least 60% full of existing shows.
On the HD-DVR without an external drive, it shows as 100% full, though I'm not entirely sure that's accurate either. I would think at most I'd see 98% or something. 100% seems pretty exactly packed considering the mix of SD and HD programming.
Anyone else seeing bizarre stuff like this?
