Time Warner Cable Wisconsin inched ever closer to surpassing its satellite rivals today, adding 10 more HD channels to its lineup, plus a premium on-demand channel and nine high-def pay-per-view feeds.

Today's additions include:
  • QVC HD (1175)
  • FUSE HD (1258)
  • Tennis HD (1327)
  • HBO2 HD (1604)
  • HBO Family HD (1606)
  • More Max - (1623)
  • Action Max (1624)
  • Sho2 HD (1643)
  • TMC HD (1662)
  • Encore HD (1290)
Also added today are 9 high-definition pay-per-view movie channels (1520 - 1529) and is Showtime On Demand HD on channel 1640.

By adding 10 new HD channels -- 31 in total in the last six weeks -- our unofficial count of HD channels offered in this area now puts Time Warner ahead of DirecTV, who hasn't added new HD channels in some time.  With future additions, Time Warner may surpass DISH Network as well, however it will take more still to reach AT&T U-Verse's offering.
