Fox Sports HD Stuttering

Have you noticed stuttering on any other channels? Does it only occur during sports broadcasts?

No stuttering on any channels or sports I watch in HD. I have only noticed it during Fox's sports broadcasts in HD. The stutter does not occur in standard definition.

It is Fox 11 and NBC 26 HD on TWC for me. It has been especially bad the last week. I am getting sick of it.

I personally have not noticed it on NBC. I watched the Packers Sunday night game and it looked fine but all games I have watched on Fox so far this season, you see this stutter or it looks like delay in picture. It doesn't look natural. Like I said in my initial post, if you do a Google search, other people across the country have encountered similiar issues.

It would be nice to know the source of the issue.

I've got a Tivo with Time Warner and I haven't seen the stuttering. I'd be curious if Time Warner has boxes by a different manufacturer if the stuttering is present on those boxes too.

Noticed this during Fox broadcast of NFL Games last Sunday.....The Packers on CBS was fine......I pay all this money for 2nd to last in Nat. HD channels and I get jittery unwatchable football on Fox.....Figures!

I'm getting it on HD ABC,HD NBC,HD WLUK, and some HD CBS, now. Before it was just HD NBC and HD WLUK.

Is it possible it has something to do with TWC's channel re-alignment on OCT 8 ?

I didn't notice it on Sunday while I watched the Packer game. I haven't checked out the other channels.

This last weekend was especially bad in the second half of the game. Sound stuttering about every 30 seconds and picture going to black screen with sound at end of some replays. Does not happen on any other channels but FOX HD (Antenna and DirecTV)

I have stuttering on Fox too, I have Dish Network DVR, and a JVC 56" HDTV it's only during Fox football coverage I think but I honestly don't watch network TV much (except football)...

This started last week during the game, only on fox, no problem with CBS or NBC Sunday night or ESPN Monday night, and it's hapening this week as well only on Fox.

Fox Sports NFL HD Broadcast is bad. I am usually at the game but home today with terrible stuttering on Fox about every 6-8 seconds on Direct TV on the Viking Detroit game and Green Bay Dallas game. Occasional 1-2 second blackout. This is very annoying. Hard to follow. No problems on the CBS Bengali Steeler game. Even the commercials on Fox do not sound normal. Maybe if sponsors complain Fox will fix it.

Fox hs is awful! All they are doing is making the play field smaller. They say we are getting to seemore of the field.... sounds good and all but nothing happens on that part of thefield of the camerman is on track. People who want hd pay for it. Espn nbc and cbs look great. Poor decision by fox just fly at out stupid.

My girlfriend thought I was crazy. I noticed this while watching the NLCS on Fox 29 in Philadelphia on Verizon Fios. Every time the camera angle switches to behind the pitcher facing homeplate, there is a little sound stutter. Doesn't really bother me or anyone here, but I just thought I'd drop a comment.

I've noticed it during HD football broadcasts (definitely on FOX, not sure about CBS/ESPN). It almost looks like the cameras are recording fewer frames per second than normal. It doesn't happen all the time, and only with certain cameras, but it happens enough that I stopped to search for the problem online.

In my experience it is not just HD. I don't have HD yet I can't get
a FOX broadcast without problems. Every other week they have nothing
but transmission issues. As far as I'm concerned the NFL can give the rights to NBC. FOX is horendous.
