It's a bad idea, since I'll have to find my favorite channels all over again.

The analog channels are staying put, in the same numbers for the most part (a very small handful are shifting to new places). Supposedly if you have basic/standard service with a digital receiver/DVR, you'll also have access to the analog channels you already receive in digital, grouped into genres above the 100s. Kind of like that idea. Wish there was a way I could disable the sub-100 channels from appearing on the guide (like U-Verse lets you do).
My biggest question/hope in this whole thing is whether we'll finally get that Navigator software in this change. All the imagery they have on the promo materials for the channel changes has the Navigator-style menus on it, but I know they've had trouble in past getting Navigator to work in switched-digital-video markets (ie. why Milwaukee got it but we didn't).

I hope they are making their channels more consistent across the whole country. At least if you are in a different TWC area you will be able to find channels easier. If they do a good job of it, I think organizing by genre might be nice.
