Will be buying a new LCD flat panel in the next week, and there seems to be a $200-300 difference between a 60hz model and a 120hz model. The 120hz model is supposedly better for smoothing out pictures with fast motion, but have you really been able to tell a difference?

Not with TV, but with gaming
Not with TV, but with gaming yes.
I haven't had to much
I haven't had to much experience with the newer 120hz TV's but I would have to agree that you probably wouldn't notice much improvement with normal TV but it would likely make a difference with gaming. I have a plasma so I have never seen screen blur. Has anyone seen the screen blur on an LCD and is it a frequent occurrence?
I just bought a 120 Hz, and
I just bought a 120 Hz, and there is significantly less/almost no blur when watching sports and fast-moving shots in single-camera style shows like "The Office"
