How does your over-the-air DTV reception of WLUK FOX 11 now compare to before the switch?

Remember that WLUK has moved

Remember that WLUK has moved back to channel 11, which is VHF-hi. You need a VHF-hi antenna to receive it well. In most cases, a $35 Winegard YA-1713 antenna will solve your problems. Mount it at least 5 feet below your UHF antenna and point it directly at the Fox 11 tower (which may not be the same direction your UHF antenna is pointed).

If you are close enough to have an indoor antenna for UHF, a good set of rabbit ears may do the trick. If you are a longer distance away, an outdoor antenna preamplifier may be needed. In all cases, use a dedicated UHF/VHF combiner to merge the signals. Using a simple splitter to merge the signal from the two antennas MAY cost you up to 3dB of signal (50%!!!!) which can be enough to cost you all reception.

I would love to see WLUK double their signal, but I personally do not need it and I am 38 miles from the tower behind a tall hill.

One last thought...VHF is known to be harder to receive when very close (like right next to or perhaps 1 mile from the tower) because the VHF signals seem to beam "over the top" of very close antennas. Perhaps you are TOO close?

I could get Fox 11 just fine

I could get Fox 11 just fine when they were DTV on 51 and the leased tower. As soon as the switched DTV to 11, I lost the signal. I have a nice outdoor VHF/UHF antenna, and all other stations hit VERY strong in all weather. Fox 11...nothing.

Just a shot in the dark,

Just a shot in the dark, Did you ever rescan? You'd be surprised how many people I talk to who haven't rescanned their sets yet.
Also, have you tried taking your antenna off, rescanning so your TV finds nothing, then reconnecting your antenna and rescanning again? What has also worked is performing a reset to Factory defaults and starting over with the box. It has something to do with the boxes not acknowledging the new digital signal and still believing the signal on 11 to be an analog signal and just skipping the channel all together. Making the box "forget" about all the signals and starting over sometimes works. Just a suggestion.
