I live in Menasha and have a Series 3 TiVo with TW cablecards. Can't wait for the tuning adapter!
If you have a question I will try and answer.
Just out of curiosity...
Just out of curiosity... what channels are not available without the tuning adapter? I'm looking into getting the HD TiVo, and I'm trying to figure out if I should wait or not.

Personally, I don't think getting a Tivo is worth it. Besides the fact that you still have to pay a monthly service fee that ranges anywhere from $8 - $13 depending on how far out you are willing to pay for the service (I am paying $9 a month for an HD DVR and service), you have to pay $150 - $600 to buy one. If I bought the cheapest model (which is not HD) it would take me a year and four months to break even. Then you still need a cable card or two to make it worth having, which costs money too. Oh and lets not forget the fact that you need a tuning adapter to receive any switch digital channels (according to Tivo your cable company will provide these for free to you, I guess I would have to see it to believe it on that one) and you still need to have an active phone line or a broadband connection to get your guide updates. Simply not worth it!
