Charter also adds MLB Network sans HD version
Charter fans rejoice!
The cable carrier has also added the newly-launched MLB Network to its lineup. It appears to be placed on the expanded digital tier on channel 84.
Like Time Warner Cable Wisconsin, Charter is currently only carrying the standard version of the channel. No word on when, or if, Charter will add MLB Network's 720p HD simulcast to its lineup. MLB Network HD is currently available to Northeast Wisconsin customers only on DirecTV.
Time Warner Cable and DirecTV both hold minority stakes in the channel, along with Major League Baseball, Comcast and Cox. MLB Network has yet to be added to DISH Network and AT&T U-Verse.

Any word on whether Charter
Any word on whether Charter will add any additional HD channels beyond the MLB network? Charter is really lagging behind all of the other providers with HD offerings (although they don't have the problems associated with switched video :-).
In RE: to TW possibly taking
In RE: to TW possibly taking over Charter.
That'll be good news for some of my friends that have Charter. They royally hate it and wish they were able to get Time Warner.
