FOX 11 experiences lip sync issues

WLUK morning anchor and meteorologist Pete Petoniak reported this morning that the station was experiencing lip sync issues.

"The problem is with your local cable provider and they tell us they're trying to fix it," says Petoniak on Facebook.  However, we have also been experiencing the problem with FOX 11 on our antenna.

No word on when the problem will be fixed.

DISH Network plans February rate hike before two-year price freeze

Dish Network will raise its monthly programming rates by $3-5 starting in February, the Denver Post reports today. Dish's America's Top 120 package will increase 12.5 percent, from $40 to $45. The America's Top 200 package will rise nine percent, from $55 to $60.

AT&T Sets 2011 Rate Hikes For U-verse TV

AT&T -- which once argued that telco competition would keep a lid on cable rates -- will increase monthly pricing for U-verse TV packages by up to 10% in early 2011, its second consecutive year of hikes.

DirecTV to Raise Prices By 4 Percent

DIRECTV says it will raise the price of most programming packages by four percent starting in February 2011. The satcaster made the announcement at its web site. Some optional services will also have new prices. The new price list will be included in subscribers' January or February bills.

Report: DirecTV May Drop Golf Channel

DirecTV may drop The Golf Channel at the end of the month due to a fee fight with the channel's owner, Comcast. The current programming pact between the two companies expires on December 31. If a new agreement is not reached by then, DIRECTV's subscribers would lose both the SD and HD channels.

NBC26 launches music video subchannel

Northeast Wisconsin viewers who use an antenna may find a new channel appearing on their TVs today.

Journal Communications, owner of NBC26, launched "The Cool TV," a music-fueled TV network on digital subchannel 26.2.  If it does not already appear on your TV, a manual channel scan may be necessary.
