Anyone experiencing problems tuning WLUK with an RCA DTA-800B1 converter box? We have a reader in New London with a rooftop antenna who can get every other channel but FOX11.

For as long as it took to get that thing launched, I was pretty disappointed. Not that impressive. Better than the last set, but not worth the price paid.

Ever since I hooked up my RCA (simple) converter box, the volume is terrible.( Too low). Except for the COMMERCIALS---they can be heard alright. Why can't people control their own t.v.s in their own homes?!! Do I have to control volume through some kind of receiver now?!!
If you have your converter
If you have your converter box hooked up to an older TV that doesn't have stereo sound, some converter boxes have a setting in their menu where you can set the audio output to mono. I've found that works to help the low volume problem on some mono TVs with converter boxes.
Most converter boxes also have their own volume settings independent of the TV, so maybe that has something to do with it?
