Tell me I'm not the only one: WFRV-DT signal dropouts on TWC *AND* OTA?

I've this is an anomaly and/or a personal problem, I'm going to be very upset. I'm hoping someone else had this happen...

So I'm recording the NCIS season finale on WFRV-HD last week and I wanted to make sure I didn't miss it. I set it to record both from OTA on my Media Center PC, and on my Time Warner HD DVR.

Both experienced periodic issues where the picture/sound would blank out for half a second to 2 seconds. It wasn't a picture stutter or anything like that. Just looks like it went dark and came back as if nothing happened. It appeared to be the same places on both the Time Warner recording and the Media Center OTA recording.

Just tonight, I hook up my girlfriend's new Digital Stream DTV converter (in Green Bay) and though we get 90+% signal quality, we're seeing the same blackouts during "How I Met Your Mother" and "CSI." I guess it seems to be during network shows only.

Anyone else seeing this? I'm guessing (rather, HOPING) this is an issue on WFRV's end and not just a figment of my imagination. My guess would be either something's happening with WFRV's DTV output to both Time Warner and their DT transmitter... or they're getting dropouts in their signal from the CBS satellite.

ARGH!!!

It is possible that Time

It is possible that Time Warner's primary DTV feed from WFRV is an Over-The-Air antenna. There may not be a fiber line (or the proper equipment on the existing analog fiber line) in place yet for the DTV channel considering that many people believe that digital is still secondary to the analog channel. This would explain why there was an issue with both Time Warner's cable feed and OTA.

Keith: It looks good to me. Obviously a great improvement over what it was. I like the colors, the bug on the right with the simple temp and time, the panning out, and the text scroll at the bottom....
TvBoy: Damn, For as long as it took to get that thing launched, I was pretty disappointed. Not that impressive. Better than the last set, but not worth the price paid.
