Anybody get one of those $99 HD DVD players at Walmart or Best Buy during that one day sale?

If so, how do you like it?

Must be that minimum markup law. I had no idea it applies to products as well as gasoline.

I'm just as happy waiting until regular retail dips to a manageable price. I don't buy that many DVDs anymore anyways, so I either download HD rentals through Xbox Live or upscale DVDs through my Xbox 360. Looks fine to me!

Keith: It looks good to me. Obviously a great improvement over what it was. I like the colors, the bug on the right with the simple temp and time, the panning out, and the text scroll at the bottom....
TvBoy: Damn, For as long as it took to get that thing launched, I was pretty disappointed. Not that impressive. Better than the last set, but not worth the price paid.
